I would like to thank our dedicated ringers who participate in worship monthly. Our rehearsals
are Wednesday at 5:00 pm, August- May. Community members are welcome as many of our
ringers play at Pawley’s Presbyterian also. Two more ringers would really add to our ensemble.
Sunday was our last performance until we begin rehearsing in August. The two selections were
quite complicated and I was very pleased with the results.

Chancel Choir – 8:45 AM Traditional Service It is the mission of St. Paul’s Waccamaw Chancel Choir to glorify God by enhancing the Traditional Worship Service. This is being done by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, leading the congregation in worship and performing the finest quality of sacred music. The Chancel Choir is conducted by Olivia Huggins, accompanist and sings for the 8:45am service each Sunday and for special services. The choir gives two major concerts each year, assisted by a string ensemble and soloists. The voiced Chancel Choir consists of adults, young and old, who perform some of the world’s finest choral literature. Rehearsals are each Wednesday at 7:15 pm in the music room located in the Christian Life Center. No auditions are required but some previous choral experience would be helpful.

Our wonderful Handbell Choir celebrates GOD through beautiful handbell musical sounds of well-rehearsed and practiced ringing, vibrations, bells, chimes, symbols and more. Our team has ten positions with over a dozen substitutes. No auditions or experience necessary. A basis of knowledge of music notation and rhythms needed. Our Handbell Choir practices on Tuesdays from 9AM to 10:15AM.
We play approximately eight times a year on Sundays at our 8:45AM Traditional Service and our 11AM Celebration Service. We also put on a spectacular Christmas celebration music performance at our worship services. To join the Handbells, please contact Olivia Huggins
