Find Your Place with Saint Paul’s Methodist Church

We want you to feel at home when you walk through our doors. Taking part in community challenges grows us as followers of Jesus. Don’t miss out on what God has planned for you by not sharing your life with others.

The Outreach Team:

The Outreach Team of Saint Paul’s Methodist Church of Pawleys Island seeks to lead Church members to reach to not only the least of these in our community and around the world, but also the neighbor, friend, relative, and the new to the community. Our vision statement speaks to the church’s mission statement, “To Be Disciples of Jesus Christ and Seek to Make Disciples of Jesus Christ.”

In order to be a disciple, we follow Christ’s example. Discipleship is exemplified completely in scripture. As followers of Jesus Christ we learn how to pray and worship, have fellowship with one another through Bible study, and in serving others together with love in mission and outreach ministries of the church and the other numerous witness opportunities.

The cross is both horizontal and vertical bars. This represents a disciple. Our relationship with God (vertical) is expressed horizontally in the giving of our time, talent, witness and service as we share the grace, love, and mercy of Jesus.

Through discipleship, we experience the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

We seek to invite all to come and be a part of a loving family of faith. We pray a relationship will begin that will nurture and support the needs of your soul.

We believe everyone is broken and in need of God’s forgiving and transforming grace as found in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That is the “Good News!” That is the message we want to share and live with you.

Everyone is welcome at Saint Paul’s UMC and will be welcomed. We pray for you a relationship will develop through some event, class, or worship experience. Hopefully, through time, you will come to know Saint Paul’s as your family of faith.
